The Fraser Valley Metropolitan Recreation District hosts activities and recreational sports for the Fraser Valley and Winter Park area and serves those throughout Grand County.

On December 18, 2009 we opened the Valley's first recreation center: Grand Park Community Recreation Center located at One Main Street in Fraser, CO.

The Fraser Valley Metropolitan Recreation District prides itself on the generosity of its community involvement. Many programs and project depend on volunteers. We welcome enthusiasts who are willing to share their time and expertise with us. Please see our home page for the volunteer application and waiver.

Pay Before You Play:

Payment is requiredupon registration of the class. We require a payment by cash, check or major credit card for walk-in registration and by major credit card only for online and phone registration. If you need financial assistance please ask about our Guardian Angel Scholarship Fund.

Cancellation Policy:
If a class or program does not meet the specified enrollment minimum, the activity may be cancelled and you will receive a refund or credit for future enrollment.

Looking for a Sitter?
If you need help finding someone to watch your children, this is a great resource! Contact us for names and numbers of sitters and if you are interested in adding your name to the list. All of the sitters have completed the American Red Cross Babysitters training.

Evaluate Us:
A formal evaluation process is in place for all youth and adult programs. We collect feedback to measure the success of a program and improve the quality of our recreational opportunities. Contact us on the web, via email, feedback card or just phone in!
