The Final results for the May 6th BOD Biennial Election are in.
Welcome our two new board members, Greg Gallavan and John Kacik!
The Fraser Valley Metropolitan Recreation District had their BOD biennial election this May 6th at the East Grand Fire Station. The Unofficail vote has been tallied. This notice posted at 1:00am on Wednesday, May 7th. With 335 votes Greg Gallavan is in front while John Kacik and Kevin Davlin are tied at 213. The Canvass was completed and the numbers were accurate. According to 1-11-102. Tie votes in nonpartisan elections.If any two or more candidates tie for the highest number of votes for the same office and if there are not enough offices remaining for all the candidates, the board of canvassers shall determine by lot the person who shall be elected. Reasonable notice shall be given to the candidates who are involved of the time when the election will be determined.
The lot will be held at the FVMRD District Administration Office Friday, May 9th at 2:30pm.

Construction Management and Architectural Firms selected for FVMRD
Community Enhancement Projects
Sink Combs Dethlefs, were awarded the design of Fraser Valley’s new Community Recreation Center, Clubhouse at Pole Creek Golf Club and a new Restroom/Concession building at the Fraser Valley Sports Complex. www.sinkcombs.com
