Cross Country - "Striders"

"Striders" is designed for K-3rd graders for after school skiing. Students will learn both classic and skating techniques through a variety of games and exercises. Transportation and equipment is provided. We will meet outside the FVE gymnasium. Students MUST wear appropriate outdoor clothing including warm, water-proof coat, snow pants, hat, mittens or gloves, neck warmer and warm socks.

Ice Skating - Polar Bear Club

This is a co-ed  skating class. Students will learn to skate in a fun and playful environment.  We will learn and develop basic skating skills through games and play.  Transportation is available from FVE at 3:30. Please meet in the FVE lunch room after school. Students must wear appropriate outdoor clothing including warm water-proof coat, snow pants, helmet, mittens or gloves, and warm socks. A helmet is required. We will end the class @ 4:45, with 15 minutes for hot chocolate. Please pick up your child at the Fraser Sports Complex Ice Rink promptly at 5:00. Skates are available for rent for an additional $10 a session.

Hockey - Introduction to

For those boys with minimal skating experience who want to improve their skills and learn to play hockey. Helmet, skates and stick are required; a mouth guard is also recommended. Transportation is available from FVE at 3:30. Please meet in the FVE lunch room after school. Students MUST wear appropriate outdoor clothing including warm, water proof coat, snow pants, mmittens or gloves, neck warmer and warm socks. We will end the class @ 4:45, with 15 minutes for hot chocolate. Please pick up your child at the Fraser Sports Complex Ice Rink promptly at 5:00. Power Skating for Ice Hockey

Victoria Work, certified USA Hockey Coach and head coach for Fraser Valley Peewee Hockey, is offering Ice Hockey power skating development lessons.  These 30-minute private or semi-private lessons with focus on stability, efficiency, strength and integration.  Lesson times will be offered during public skate or stick and puck sessions during the week (Monday - Friday).  To schedule a time that works best for you please contact Victoria at friendswithcarsfm@gmail.com or call 307-314-2328.  Helmet, gloves and hockey skates required. Skate rentals are available at the IceBox Ice Rink.
