The Fraser Valley Metropolitan Recreation District is taking additional steps to ensure the cleanliness of these facilities, along with the health and safety of our patrons by treating the facilities with an antimicrobial surface protectant that safeguards against viruses, bacteria and fungi. The product, manufactured by SD Labs is non-toxic, odorless, non-corrosive, hypoallergenic, and safe to breath and touch. It is also environmentally friendly compared to chemical disinfectants, biodegradable, and approved for use on all surfaces. The FVMRD has added this product, along with ATP monitoring. ATP monitoring can detect the amount of organic matter that remains after cleaning a surface. This is an additional part of a broad effort to enhance precautionary measures against the spread of COVID-19.
