Aerial Arts Program
About
Aerial Arts in Grand County
Circus performances have been a part of American culture for hundreds of years. For much of that time only circus professionals knew the tricks of the trade.
Only in the past decade has this art form become available to the general population on a recreational basis.
The Fraser Valley Rec hosts Grand County’s premier Aerial and Circus Arts Academy. Catering to all ages and fitness levels, we are excited to share this opportunity with you.
Studio Policies
- Sanitize hands and feet when you arrive to the gymnastics studio.
- No zippers, or sharp/bulky jewelry allowed on aerial fabric.
- Don’t touch aerial equipment until after warm up is complete.
- Never climb higher than you can safely descend.
- Always descend hand over hand in a classic climb wrap unless practicing another instructor approved descent.
- No one is allowed on the mat except for the person practicing above the mat and the instructor. Approved doubles skills are the only exception.
Current Aerial Arts Offerings
All Aerial Arts programs take place in the Gymnastics Studio unless otherwise specified.
