Designed for first time swimmers. Swimmers learn to enter independently, using either the ladder steps or slide, travel at least 5-yards, submerge to mouth and blow bubbles for at least 3 seconds, then safely exit the water. While in shallow water, glide on front at least 2 body lengths, roll to back and float on back for 3 seconds, then recover to a vertical position. (All can be done with support.) Admission is required for anyone who isn’t participating in class who uses the facility during or after class.

Pre-K Club offers a comfortable, enriching and nurturing environment for 3-5 year olds to explore the basics in cooking, swimming, music, and more! This 1 1/2 hour program gives parents the perfect amount of time to run some errands or enjoy a cup of coffee with friends while their child learns and grows.**** NO CLASS OCTOBER 9****

Let your kids have fun at the Rec while you enjoy time on the town! Our summer Parent’s Night Out is offered on Friday evenings from 4:30-8: 30 pm. Open for children age 3+ (must be potty trained). Per child, fee includes pizza dinner. Please bring a swimsuit and towel as we may enjoy a swim, as well as the other activities the Rec Center has to offer. We end the evening with some quiet time with stories or a movie in the Penguin Room. MUST pre-register 726-8968 x0. Cancellations made at least 24-hours in advance will receive a household credit. If the minimum is not met 24-hours in advance we reserve the right to cancel the activity. If you choose to enjoy your evening at Cooper Creek Square and spend $50 or more there, you will receive a $15.00 credit on your FVMRD account when you turn your receipt into the front desk at the end of the evening. One receipt per family, please.
